COVID-19 pandemic – Changes to VLF activities
We have made a number of changes to our program due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This morning Premier Daniel Andrews announced a four-week state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, commencing today. In light of this, and in the interests of public health and safety, we have made a number of changes to our program.
Law Talks in Sale postponed
Our school Law Talks in Sale scheduled for next week has been postponed. All participating schools have been informed of the change.

Better Information Workshop will be recorded
Our Better Information Workshop Mainstream media – it’s still a thing will not go ahead as planned. Instead, our presenters Lynne Haultain and Mick Paskos will record the planned content and we will share it with all registered attendees.
Plans for Law Week are being reviewed
Law Week 2020 is scheduled for 18-24 May. At this stage we are monitoring the situation and are considering the impact that the pandemic will have on the festival. We will follow the advice provide by the government and health services, and hope to be able to provide more information soon.
